It can become dangerous for the small one…
i really like this--the feathering of the "spaces" from which each entity/animal emerges towards a central point. It seems like a conference, not a hunt. There is something about the fact that their worlds don't open from top to bottom; like the ground up towards clouds in a sky... but instead, their worlds open up from the side, from almost emotional wave patterns--its like a weaving, with an opening... possibilities. If this makes any sense! ;)
I like the way both animals come out of those patterns. The patterns look like some burden or history they carry along. They come out to the open space and meet. The grey hues are splendid. Is that paper you painted on ? :)
Great print. And the words are like in the old fairy tales. Do you think the rabbit is so curious and comes?
Did you draw this? It's really fabulous, so evocative. And your caption is so funny!
i like your prints so very much - they are so rich in the grey tones. And the composition gets even more clear beacause of no colours. You make me long for working in black and white (and grey) again!
Beautiful work, Andrea... very beautiful.
i love it, so pretty.
This is beautiful, Andrea - very dramatic. I feel bad for the little guy, allthough one don't know the outcome of their meeting
the light and the dark, each with their own understanding and wisdom. you truly are the queen of the grey tones andrea, you capture them better than anyone else i have ever seen.
