Hi friends! I am back home from Slovakia. This is a mixture of things I have done and seen there - in Nitra and in Bratislava. In Bratislava I met a friend, whom I haven´t seen about 20 years...
Ivan Csudai. Thank you Marienka for the nice time we had together!
welcome home, andrea! nice to see the pictures from your journey!
ReplyDeletewelcome home. na zdravi.
ReplyDeletewonderful sharings.
hey you... i just got into the link for your friend's work. Really love it... Its perceptive and yet soft, round, almost held behind a guaze curtain of being. Full of condensed thought; a punning poet, a social criticism in each. Really made me think and laugh. Thanks! He seems very intelligent.
ReplyDeleteI love your photo mosaic! I'd love to hear more about your trip, where exactly you went, what you visited... Tell us more, Andrea!
ReplyDeleteI hope Frodo didn't miss you too much! Was he happy you were back?
So much in this post! Each picture is telling a story... and they are all good ones. Great to hear you had a good time!
ReplyDeleteOh, so many amazing images to look at here! Thank you for the Monday morning trip! It looks like it was a good trip for you :)

ReplyDeletemansuetude:i like his work too, he is a professor on the Art academy in Bratislav.
mary-laure: there is no much to say about this trip - I went to Nitra with the school exhibition, spend almost two days with hanging it, then I went to Bratislava, where I was a member of some university committee. In the rest of the time I was walking and talking with old friends. And Frodo was missing me, and he was really injured, when I came back.
